The Klingon Q7 Fleet Tanker.
-----------------------------------------------
The Q7 Fleet tanker entered service with the Klingon Navy around the 2240's. It is basically similar to the Q6 Fleet Tanker except for the S-Graph Warp engines and superiour speed capablities.

During the 2230's it became clear to the Klingon Navy that their existing fleet tankers were a considerably slower than the warships that they were intended to service. The outdated B'anarix Warp engines only gave the Q6 a top speed of Warp 5.1 where as the S-Graph equiped D5, D6 and D7 cruisers could all achieve Warp 7.

It was proposed that all future fleet tanker be fitted with S-Graph Warp engines similar to the type utilised by the D5 cruiser. This had the added bonus of adding a pair of Disrupters to the Q7's defensive weaponry.

The role of the Q7 was to keep the Klingon Deep Space Fleet supplied with both anti-matter, for the MAM Warp reactors, and Deutronium slush for the Impulse engines and shuttle craft hangar supply tanks.

The fuel tank itself had the anti-matter containment bottle in its core with baffled Deutronium sludge tanks surrounding it.
A small Fusion reactor supplied power for the containment bottle with a back up battery in case of reactor failure. In emergency imminent containment failure situations the fuel tank could be separated by explosive bolts and solid fuel boosters would propel it downwards away from the ship.

In the rare instances that this needed to be enacted the host ships still managed to suffer blast damage from the ensuing explosion.

The Q7 had a maximum velocity of Warp 6.6 and was the principal fleet tanker during the General War.

Steps to install:
-----------------
(1) Unpack zipped file.

(2) Move the model folder to Starfleet Command/Assets/Models folder. If you're smart enough to have all the races in seperate folders then place this ship in the Federation folder.

(3) Copy the Shiplist fragment and paste it into the appropriate race and part of your Shiplist file in Starfleet Command/Assets/Specs/Sfbspc13.txt

(4) Modify the model folder references to suit your own SFC models directory structure.

NOTE: You must have at least one stock SFC game ship in human player squadrons to use this ship in multiplayer games. However, AI player squadrons are not bound by this restiction/problem and can have all three ships as non-stock ships if desired.

These ship has been put under the Klingon F for Freighters part of the SFBSPC13.TXT, so that it can be called up for use in scripts using the FMSE (Fleet Model Script Editor) software add on by Eagle Eye Software. If you want to actually be able to select this ship, in normal SFC select ships, you will have to move it into the FF, CL, CA or DN part of the listing.
